This comic was reprinted from: X-Men (vol. 1) #95 (Oct. 1975): "Warhunt!".

Although this is a reprint of an earlier story, this publication of the story actually feature a few pages of completely new material. The page originally published in this story on which Cyclops recalls events from the previous issue has been omitted.

The cover of this issue features a special border that was used on most every Marvel comic published this month, a border commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Marvel Comics. The border is the same on every comic and features numerous Marvel super-heroes, none of which have anything to do with the internal story (except for X-Men members Cyclops, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, Wolverine and Beast). The border features the following characters, starting from the top left, down to the bottom up to the top right: Spider-Man (Peter Parker), the Hulk (Bruce Banner), Iron Man (Tony Stark), Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Doctor Strange (Stephen Strange), Namor the Sub-Mariner, Captain America (Steve Rogers), The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Puck (Eugene Judd), Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde), Rogue, Wolverine (Logan), Colossus (Piotr Rasputin), Storm (Ororo Munroe), Phoenix (Rachel Summers), Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner), Iceman (Bobby Drake), Marvel Girl (Jean Grey), Cyclops (Scott Summers), Angel (Warren Worthington III), the Beast (Hank McCoy), Daredevil (Matt Murdock), the Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), the Vision, Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Power Man (Luke Cage), the Thing (Ben Grimm), She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters), Invisible Woman (Susan Storm Richards), Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards), the Human Torch (Johnny Storm), Thor.
