"Catholic Super Heroes" is a web page (or blog post) that was posted on 12 April 2008 on a blog website named "A thorn in the pew." The post consisted largely of a link to Adherents.com's page "The Religious Affiliation of Comic Book Characters," along with a picture of a super-heroine named "Liturgical Prancer," which the blog poster created using the UGO webpage "Hero Machine."
The URL for this blog post is: http://athorninthepew.blogspot.com/2008/04/catholic-super-heroes.html
The title of the blog is apparently also the online pseudonym of the blogger/author. The blog's user profile identifies the author as a traditional Catholic woman who lives in Covington, Kentucky. The site does not provide the author's real name.
The complete text of this blog (which accompanied the picture of the super-heroine created with Hero Machine) is as follows:
The Religious Affiliation of Comic Book Characters
How interesting is this? Who knew Catwoman was Catholic? The stuff you learn surfing the web(instead of finishing taxes) is amazing.
H/T to M. Swaim for this info.
On that note, you can make your own super hero here. The possibilities are endless. I've created mine above. With equipment like that, I can save the world.
