Hardware battles the COVERT agent Scrapmetal. After a vicious battle Hardware forces Scrapmetal to tell him who ordered COVERT to hunt down super powered being in the city of Dakota. Scrapmetal states that this person is Congresswoman Metcalf. Back at Hard Co. the office is buzzing with activity. Curtis is standing Barraki up once again and EDWIN has contacted the Fantastegist to design a new Hard Co. Hardware meets with his mom to discuss here actions in Dakota. Congresswoman Metcalf tells Hardware that she knows he is her son. The argument ends without a solution as Hardware leaves for Dakota. When he arrives in Dakota, Hardware is attacked by Seven Pallaton. The two battle as Pallaton's springs a trap but they are interrupted by Tyrant.
