The popular Norwegian comic strip "Nemi," written and drawn by Lise Myhre, first appeared in 1997 under the title "Den svarte siden" (which translates into English as "The Black Side" or "The Black Page." The strip first appeared in the monthly magazine Larsons Gale Verden (the Norwegian version of Gary Larson's magazine "The Far Side"), and subsequently began appearing in several newspapers.
