Batman: We need to talk.
[Cut to rooftop in the city, where Batman and Wonder Woman have come to speak privately.]
Wonder Woman: An Amazon? That's ridiculous.
Batman: I don't think so. I managed to take this off her.
[Batman tosses Wonder Woman the necklace he managed to snag from Fury during their fight in the previous scene. Wonder Woman catches the necklace and looks at it.]
Batman: It's an Amazon design, isn't it?
Wonder Woman: Yes, but it could be a forgery. Besides, Amazons don't steal. It's against our code. And we never leave the island.
Batman: Never.
[Batman's implication here is that "never" may not be entirely accurate, as Wonder Woman, who is herself an Amazon, has quite obviously left the island. Wonder Woman turns back to look at him, not pleased. End of scene.]
