Rift has reached a state of ultimate power as he merged the realities of Dakota and Metropolis. Static, Rocket and Superboy have had their costumes changed. Steel and Hardware find Transit who tells them that Superman and Icon are between dimensions. Static uses some comic lessons to learn where the other heroes are. Superman and Icon try to get a trap to catch Rift out of the warp zone. Rocket calms down Static and Fade drops in. Rift shows up and takes them to the rest of the Blood Syndicate. Superman and Icon get the trap out of warp. Rift takes out Fade, Holocaust and Rocket. Steel, Hardware, Superman and Icon prepare the trap. Rift defeats Static, but is attacked by the other heroes. Rift kills Superboy, Steel and Hardware. Static powers the trap to catch Rift and the worlds shift back to normal.
