The story in this issue is comprised of two parts. First, there is a 3-page prologue written by Joe Quesada, pencilled by Joe Quesada, and illustrated by Jimmy Palmiotti. Then there is a 20-page main body of the story, written by Fabian Nichieza, pencilled by Scott Lee, and inked by Jimmy Palmiotti. The prologue actually takes place chronologically between pages 17 and 18 of 22 Brides issue #4.
