"Jack and Jill is a traditional English nursery rhyme (poem). The earliest known printed version of the nursery rhyme comes from a reproduction of John Newbery's Mother Goose's Melody, the original of which was published in approximately about 1760, but this is not an exact date. Some scholars date the rhyme itself to the first half of the 17th century.
