The super-hero "Homem_Grilo" (or, in English, "Cricket Man") was created by Cadu Simoes and Ricardo Marcelino. Homem_Grilo first appeared publicly in comic strips which Simoes created and posted on a comic book website called "AracnoSpawn." After the website ended, Simoes collected strips he had created and published them as a "Homem-Grilo" comic book, which he described as really more of a fanzine. The first issues which he printed himself were simply A4 sheets folded in half.
