The "Gotham Girls" animated series of "webisodes" (animated shot films released directly on the Internet) was created using vector-based Flash animation. The series was produced by the same professional animation studio that produced animated TV series and direct-to-video release DVDs about DC Comics characters. The same professional voice actors from the TV series were used.
