From within X-Mansion in Westchester, Nick Fury and Prov. Xavier obtain an image from a SHIELD op in South America: a gigantic footprint, destroyed tanks, later known to be caused by a Sentinel.

Nightcrawler: "Which, given who we are and what we have accomplished, I find quite impossible to believe."
Kitty Pryde: "Not showing any mercy tonight, are you, elf?"
Nightcrawler: "I am bound by my faith, Katherine, in God-- and in you. You have these gifts for a reason. I do not yet understand that reason..."

(pg. 9) Sabretooth (thinking): "You laughin' at me, boy, from wherever you ended up... t' see me without my eyes...? My healin's stronger'n yours, Logan. Who knows, my sight may actually grow back."
Sabretooth: "Ain't that right, Chuck?"
Charles Xavier: "Logan was my friend, Sabretooth. That's why I accepted such familiarity from him..." [more]

Daisy Dugan: "Piratd off a keyhole surveillance grid established by the C.I.A. Routine orbital surveillance of South America. I actually don't think the Pentagon's even noticed the anomaly."

(pg. 1) Lil' 'Ro: "This Danger Room is totally a mess. Storm really did a number on it, Lockheed."
(pg. 5) Nightcrawler: "Storm's lightning bolts fried much of the circuitry..."
(pg. 6) Ro: "For Storm, everything's perfect. How come for me, it always has to be so hard?!"

Much of this issue is centered on clean up and repair of Danger Room after damage done to it by Storm clone in previous issues.
