This novel is an adaptation of: Weird Tales (vol. 26) #6 (Dec. 1935): "The Hour of the Dragon".

This novel is also known as: The Hour of the Dragon.

The novel Conan the Conqueror was first published in serialized form as "The Hour of the Dragon" in Weird Tales from December 1935 through April 1936. The novel was first published as a single volume in the Gnome Press, which retitled the book "Conan the Conqueror." All subsequent publications of this book have retained the title "Conan the Conqueror," until 1977, when Berkley/Putnam reverted to the original title.
