Synopsis from Back Cover:
She is Rahne Sinclair, straitjacketed and believed by her peers, the New Mutants, to be completely insane. Her claims that she is a princess from another world are proof of her madness. She is a prisoner trapped in a world where her captors are bizarre shades of people she thought she knew . . .

She is the Princess Rain, heir-apparent to an other-worldly realm, living under a curse that states that she will fall victim toa murderous beast on the eve of her ascension. And now word has reached her of a creature roaming the realm - a bestial, masked wolf-man with flashing claws, seemingly from another reality - and her ascension is nigh . . .

She is a young woman, trapped in two places, caught up in forces she cannot comprehend. But are those forces the maneuverings of powerful wizards . . . or the tortured delusions of insanity.

For the final time, the New Mutants team with Wolverine in their most bizarre adventure ever. Take your pick - either a journey into fantasy, or a descent into madness.
