Deathstroke #48 is issue #48 of the ongoing comic book series staring Deathstroke the Terminator. The series began with issue #1 with the title Deathstroke, the Terminator. That title was used through issue #40. During the "Zero Hour" event, the title sported a new title: Deathstroke, the Hunted and a special "issue #0" marking Zero Hour. The series resumed under the title Deathstroke, the Hunted with issue #41. For issue #s 46 and #47 the series continued to be known as Deathstroke, the Hunted in the internal indicia, but the title appeared simply as Deathstroke on the cover. Now, with issue #48, the indicia title has been updated to read simply Deathstroke, which is also the title on the cover. The series will be known simply as Deathstroke from here on, until the series cancellation, with issue #60.

These title changes are relatively minor and the star character always remained the same. The Deathstroke series is clearly one ongoing series, featuring 60 regularly-numbered issues, in addition to an issue #0 and 4 accompanying annuals.
