Not to be confused with other (more prominent) teams with the same name, "The Redeemers" are a short-lives group of super-powered individuals from Deathlok's future. They are all former agents of Nth Command who wanted to "redeem" themselves from the harm they did as part of Nth Command.

The only major appearance of this Redeemers team was in Captain America (vol. 1) #288. They later appeared in a flashback in Deathlok (vol. 2) #32.

The individual members of the Redeemers were seen in other stories, notably as members of Nth Command. But their time as "Redeemers" was short. They were organized by Godwulf (another member of Nth Command). They opposed the villainous Hellinger, and they were all killed by the time-traveling Japanese villain Timestream.

The individuals who comprised the Redeemers were: Big Man, Gentle Sam, Iron Butterfly, Sage, and Swashbuckler.
