Can Dr. Sam Holden accurately said to be an adherent of Eternals religion? Or is he simply an anthropology professor who has extensively studied Eternals, Deviants and Celestials? Further research about this character would be required to fully and accurately answer this this question. What is clear is that Dr. Holden is one of the world's leading authorities on Eternals and Deviants. He also has a special connection to the Eternals. He has actually participated in the Uni-Mind, which is a melding of the consciousnesses of Eternals to form a single powerful being. Dr. Holden also discovered that he was one of the few humans on Earth capable of remembering the Celestials. Much of what we know about Dr. Holden seems to go beyond mere academic detachment. But to what extent has he come to share the Eternals' values and spiritual and religious beliefs, as they pertain to the Celestials and other subjects regarded as sacred or of ultimate importance?
