Firefighter James MacDonald is the central character in the six-issue limited series The Call of Duty: The Brotherhood. James MacDonald's wife is mentioned, but not by name, in issues 1, 2 and 3 of this series. James MacDonald's wife is not mentioned in the final 3 issues of this series.
At this point in time, we do not know where the identification of the wife's name as "Nancy" comes from. But James MacDonald is featured prominently in other "Call of Duty" limited series (such as The Call of Duty: The Wagon. Presumably his wife's first name ("Nancy") is identified in one of those stories.
