"Swag" Swanson committed a gangland murder which Lois Lane investigated. Swanson plotted to kill Lois Lane. In order to save her life, Superman arranged for a scientist to use a ray he invented to temporarily make her obese, so that Lois couldn't be recognized.

Swag Swanson was introduced in this story ("The Fattest Girl in Metropolis") and died in the same story.

"Swag" Swanson is probably named after Superman artist Curt Swan.
