Actress Randi Layne was cast in the role of "Sister Joan of Arc" in the 1986 film Impure Thoughts. I believe this is simply a nickname that the four Catholic school boys who are the main characters in the film used to refer to a nun at the school they attended. But much of the film takes place in purgatory, so it is possible that the characters actually meet the historic Joan of Arc. I think the former theory is more likely, however, because the character's name in the cast list is "Sister Joan of Arc" and not simply "Joan of Arc."
