Note: Nomad (Steve Rogers) refers to his recent battle with the Serpent Squad, which included Princess Python and the Eel, along with the still at-large Cobra and Viper.
Captain America (vol. 1) #183 (Mar. 1975): "Nomad: No More!", page 5, panel 2:
protester: "--cops murdered the Viper and tried to off the Cobra, brothers and sisters! They hounded the Serpent Squad for daring to kidnap a corporate pig, trapped them in a burning house..."
Note: Aside from Viper and Cobra, mentioned by name, the other Serpent Squad members who kidnapped Roxxon president Hugh Jones were Princess Python and the Eel.
